about
This song was inspired by our history . When at a time we struggled with humanity and equality in the most heinous of ways. Moving forward after many accomplishments , we still struggle with equality and rascism. The death of Martin Luther King Jr. leaves us all with something to really think about. A man of peace love and civil rights for all. Thank you Martin and thank you all for listening. bless
lyrics
aah aah though we've been battered and bruised
I maybe black but not blue
even though we've been battered and bruised,
still we got love for you
let's live our lives like we're one people, brothers and sisters
rich and poor we're all equal
There once was a King with a dream who died and went to heaven
he had a message so clear, that we passed it on to the next generation,
It doesn't matter if you dark light,
sky's the limit in the great blue sky,
so let's be civil with some civil rights,
and when we do it yo we do it with pride,
This song may be bothersome to some,
but i'm a tell you where I coming from, eh
I don't mean no harm, eh so don't be alarmed, eh
I got love for everyone
though we've been battered and bruised
I maybe black but not blue
even though we've been battered and bruised,
still we got love for you
let's live our lives like we're one people, brothers and sisters,
hate no more we're all equal
still we got love for you
so many years blood sweat and tears,
I say we've come a long way,
But still we have some ways to go
open up your heart, I guess that would be a good start,
And progression won't be so slow. no no no no no no no
This song may be bothersome to some,
but i'm a tell you where I coming from, eh
I don't mean no harm, eh so don't be alarmed, eh
I got love for everyone
though we've been battered and bruised
I maybe black but not blue
even though we've been battered and bruised,
still we got love for you
let's live our lives like we're one people, brothers and sisters,
All across the globe we're all equal
still we got love for you
though we've been battered and bruised
I maybe black but not blue
even though we've been battered and bruised,
still we got love for you
let's live our lives like we're one people, brothers and sisters,
All across the globe we're all equal
still we got love for you
though we've been battered and bruised
I maybe black but not blue
even though we've been battered and bruised,
still we got love for you
let's live our lives like we're one people, brothers and sisters,
rich and poor we're all equal
still we got love for you

(I have a dream that one day, out in the red hills of Georgia.
Sons of former slaves and sons of former slave owners, will
be able to sit down together at the table of brotherhood.
I have a dream that one day, my 4 little children will be living in a nation,
where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the
contents of their character . I have a dream today.
this will be the day when all of God's children, black men, white men,
Jews, Gentiles, Protestant and Catholics, will be able to join hands and sing in the words of the old negro spiritual. Free at last, free at last, thank God almighty we're free at last.)
